Apple Crumble

Ingredients
Crumbles
·
2 cup flour
·
½ cup oatmeal
·
½ tsp. salt
·
1 cup brown sugar
·
¾ cup melted butter

Steps
1.
Preheat oven to 340oF
2.
Mix dry ingredients
3.
Add butter; mix well.
4.
Pat crumbles into 9 x 15 inch pan.
5.
Save 1 cup crumbles for the top of cake.
FILLING:

1 cup sugar
·
1 cup water
·
3 tbsp. cornstarch
·
¼ tsp. salt
·
1 tsp. vanilla

Steps
1. Mix
all of above except vanilla.
2. Boil
to form a paste.
3. Add
vanilla.
4. Add
5-6 cups of raw apples, peeled and sliced.
5. Mix
well and pour over crumble crust.
6. Top
with remaining crumbles.
7.
Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.
8. Bake
1 hour at 350 degrees.
